How Exchange Group Calendar works

The principle is simple: EGC copies, filters and synchronizes calendar items between user calendars and group calendars.

1. Connect user calendars

Members are linked to one or more group calendars.

2. Define what should be shown

Use filters based on categories, subjects, users or other criteria.

3. EGC keeps the calendars updated

The background service processes calendar changes automatically based on the configured processing cycle.

4. Admins can manage centrally

Admins can change, create or distribute items from group calendars when permitted.
